The Budapest Nations Cup is a friendly 6-a-side football cup for foreign citizens living in Hungary, which aims to:
- providing sport opportunities
- strengthen the cohesion of local communities
- build new relationships
Some important information about the tournament:
- The tournament will be held on 6 June 2026.
- Multiple teams from a country can register.
- Each player can only play for one team.
- Anyone over the age of 18 can participate in the tournament.
- A team can have a maximum of 12 players, of which 5+1 can be on the field at a time (5 field players + 1 goalkeeper).
- Each team can have a maximum of two players who are not from the given country.
- The matches will be played on a 40x20 meter artificial grass field.
- The playing time of the matches depends on the number of teams registered.
- Each team will play a minimum of three matches.
